Lead/Senior Civil-Geotechnical Engineer

Our client is an international engineering consulting firm. They specialize in consulting for the mining industry. They are looking for a talented Lead / Senior Civil-Geotechnical Engineer for their locations in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing and undertake engineering projects. You will be responsible for geotechnical aspects of project design, construction, operation and closure. The ideal candidate will have: You have a M. Sc. in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering You have P. Eng designation You have 10+ years experience - including design, procurement and construction supervision for earthworks structures - preferably in a mining environment You have project management experience Some experience in dealing with hydro-geological challenges in a mining environment will be an asset You are very much of a team player You are comfortable working in a team environment You have good leadership skills You have management / supervisory experience You have good interpersonal and communication skills Salary: Attractive compensation package for the right individual
