Lead/Senior Mining Engineer

Our client is an international consulting firm. They do a great deal of work for the mining industry. They are looking for a talented Lead / Senior Mining Engineer for their Toronto/GTA and Sudbuy, Ontario locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: You will be doing Consulting work on projects in Canada, USA and internationally. You will need to travel while working on projects. Assignments will include engineering studies - that is, scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility, operational advice, due diligence as well as independent reporting projects The ideal candidate will have: You have a degree in Mining Engineering You have P. Eng designation You have 15+ years "hands-on" experience with operational mining You have extensive experience in mine planning as well You have a sound knowledge of computerized mine planning tools e.g. Gemcom, Vulcan, Whittle Some Consulting experience will be an asset You can work comfortably in a team environment You have good leadership skills You have supervisory / management experience You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Travelling to USA, Canada as well as to their clients internationally will be required Salary: Attractive compensation package for the right individual
